City of Pearland’s Trick or Treat Trail

Boo Ghost WebUpdate (10/30/13): We spoke with the City of Pearland Parks & Recreation Department this morning. The decision they have made is as follows: They plan to move forward with the Trick or Treat Trail unless it is completely flooded, or the rain is still heavy around 3:30p – 4:00p. Should the rain be too heavy to continue with the event, they will notify the public through their website and social media sites. If we hear any news, we will pass it along to you as well.

Update (10/29/13): As many of you know, there is about an 80% chance of thunderstorms this Halloween and it is threatening the City of Pearland’s, Trick or Treat Trail. We have been in communication with the City of Pearland’s Parks & Recreation Department, who says they will most likely make a decision this evening or tomorrow as to whether to cancel the event. If the event is cancelled, unfortunately, there will not a make-up day, as was reported by some other organizations. We hope that the event goes on as planned, but if not, please look for us at the City of Pearland’s Christmas Parade on December 7th, as we are a sponsor once again this year.

We’re excited to announce that we will be at this year’s City of Pearland, Trick or Treat Trail. This year’s event will be in a new, some would say better, location. Centennial Park, 3219 McClean Road. This new location, should accommodate more ghosts and goblins.

This is the 11th annual Trick or Treat Trail! The event has been very successful in the past and offers a safe alternative for children wanting to trick or treat. It’s not just for kids though; there will be inflatables, music, games, a haunted hayride, live entertainment on-stage, strolling entertainment and food & novelty vendors (including Claws & Paws Veterinary Hospital).

The event is FREE and we excited to be part of this event once again. As an added benefit, there will be free parking at Pearland Junior High South (4719 Bailey Road) with free shuttle service to the park. If you are one of those who really wants to park at the location, you can do so with limited availability in the soccer fields, accessible from Veterans Road.

We will have several staff members out there to greet you and say “hi”. So, stop by and let us know you’re there; we’d love to see some familiar faces, what is sure to be a very large crowd.

If you have additional questions about this event, you can visit the City of Pearland’s Flyer for answers to Frequently Asked Questions.

We have some new items we are very excited to be giving out and we look forward to seeing you there.
