Meet Ben, who joined the Claws and Paws team August 3, 2009 after moving to Texas from his hometown of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

He brings with him a passion to help animals and a love of critters of all kinds. Ben and his boyfriend Danny share their Alvin home with quite a zoo! They have three dogs: Rocket, Clutch and Dempsey…Stewart the ferret, a cockatiel named Alec, Verin the sugar glider, and an ocean of fish!

When Ben is not working hard at Claws and Paws, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, heading out for a day at the beach or curling up with a good book and a lap full of dogs.
